Welcome to our law firm, a dedicated mother-daughter team with years of experience in family law. Rachel began her legal career in Texas in 2007, while Stefanie, then in high school, supported her mother by working with her part-time. After Stefanie moved to Louisiana and Rachel returned to her roots, they reunited professionally, working for a prominent attorney in Shreveport before joining a well-known attorney in Bossier. Eventually, Rachel established her own practice, continuing their collaborative spirit.
Both Rachel and Stefanie bring personal insights to family law, having navigated their own divorces. Their experiences make them compassionate advocates for clients facing similar challenges. Stefanie has also endured abusive and controlling relationships, allowing her to connect deeply with clients seeking support in difficult situations. Together, they are committed to helping clients through the complexities of family law with empathy and understanding.
Rachel is originally from Bossier, where she attended local schools including Apollo, Greenacres, Airline, Bossier Parish Community College and Louisiana State University-Shreveport. After moving to Texas in 1997, she earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas-Tyler and her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston. After 15 years in Texas, Rachel returned to Louisiana in 2012, eager to serve her community.
Before pursuing law, Rachel worked as an Office Manager in a physician's office and held various roles in hospitals. Her diverse background enriches her approach to legal practice, ensuring that clients receive well-rounded support during their most challenging times.

Rachel D. Wortham
Attorney at Law
Born and raised in Bossier City and Minden, Louisiana, Rachel D. Wortham’s journey is marked by academic achievements and professional growth. Although they lived in Bossier City during the week, Rachel’s parents, Roland and Jo Gills, were from the Minden area and they had a cabin on Dorcheat Bayou in Dixie Inn, where the family spent every weekend since Rachel was a young child, as both of her parents hunted and fished and attended church in the area. After graduating from Airline High School in 1988, she earned an Associate Degree in Office Administration from Bossier Parish Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Louisiana State University – Shreveport. She then began her career at LSU Medical Center.
In 1997, Rachel relocated to Texas, where she lived for 15 years and furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas - Tyler. Transitioning to law as a second career, Rachel earned her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2007. For five years, she practiced in East Texas, handling a diverse range of cases, including criminal law, family law, estate planning, and real estate, while also serving as a guardian ad litem for children and the elderly. Eventually, Rachel returned to her roots in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. Over the next 12 years, she worked as a paralegal and attorney with a prominent Shreveport attorney, specializing in family law, before joining another well-known attorney in Bossier. In 2018, she was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association, reaffirming her commitment to the legal profession. Outside of her professional endeavors, Rachel finds her greatest joy in family life. Happily married since 1997, she cherishes time spent with her husband, daughter, and three grandchildren, all of whom live locally. Rachel values the moments they create together, building cherished memories. Deeply committed to personal and spiritual growth, Rachel actively participates in her local church in Minden, Louisiana, enjoying fellowship and volunteering with her church family. She also takes delight in working at Hughes Christmas Tree Farm, owned by her sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Bryan Hughes, in Benton, Louisiana, during the holiday season. Engaging with families as they choose their Christmas trees brings Rachel immense joy, and she looks forward to working with you during your legal needs as well. |

Stefanie Haddenham is a proud native of Bossier City, Louisiana, though she was primarily raised in Texas until her return to Louisiana in 2010. Family has always been at the heart of Stefanie's life, and she deeply values her role as a mother to her three wonderful children.
In her professional journey, Stefanie discovered her passion for the legal field, starting as a Legal Assistant before advancing to a Family Law Paralegal. She is dedicated to her work, bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to various legal matters. Outside of her career, Stefanie enjoys spending quality time with her family and boyfriend. She finds solace in reading and loves to unwind by the pool or at the beach—her personal "happy place." Stefanie looks forward to contributing her skills and support to help clients navigate their legal challenges. |
